Quality standard declaration

Declaration of goods quality not only strengthens the reputation and customer confidence to quality of enterprise products, but also is one of the legal conditions necessary and sufficient for the product to be circulated in the market

Depending on the type of products, the activities of quality standard declaration of the enterprise shall be received by different state agencies. According to the legal provisions, the quality standard declaration is implemented in different manners:

• Quality standard declaration of goods (basic standard);
• Declaration of product compatibility to its standards;
• Verification registration, testing and measurement.

Documents declaring the quality of domestically produced food, products include:

• Business Registration Certificate of Vietnam trader or establishment license of representative office of foreign production company (02 notarized copies).
• Certificate of facility eligibility to hygiene and food safety conditions (02 notarized copy)
• Test result form (on key quality indexes and quality-pointing indexes and relevant hygiene indexes).
• Product labels or product label photos and sub-labeling draft (with seal of trader).
• 03 label samples.
• Certificate of registration of trademarks, or trademark registration declaration with goods receipt stamp of the Intellectual Property Department.

Documents declaring the quality of abroad imported products include:

• Notarized copy of Business Registration License of declaring company;
• Test result form (CA): 02 originals or certified true copies (on key quality indexes and quality-pointing indexes and relevant hygiene indexes). Note: The valid CA shall be independently tested by specialized centers with laboratories under ISO 17025, and 17025 ISO certificate.  In case there is no analysis document of this composition, test shall be performed in the specialized- testing center in Vietnam;
• Certificate of Free Sale (CFS): original or true copies with consular legalization;
• Certificate of qualified food safety or ISO 22000 of production company
• Product labels or product label photos and sub-labeling draft (with seal of trader).
• Certificate of registration of trademarks, or trademark registration declaration with goods receipt stamp of the Intellectual Property Department.
