Maternity leave is to pay health insurance

This is one of the notable contents of Decree No. 105/2014 / ND-CP dated 11/15/2014 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of some articles of the Law on Health Insurance (Health Insurance ).

Specifically, under this Decree, the date 01/01/2015, employees during the holiday entitlement to maternity health insurance premiums remain level monthly salary by 4.5% last month natal production; Besides, during the holiday entitlement from 14 sick days or more during the month, the workers do not pay health insurance, however, will still be entitled to health insurance benefits. Workers in time to be sent to study or work abroad nor health insurance premiums; This time period is calculated as the insured until the date the decision to return to work of agencies and organizations sent.

In addition to the special cases mentioned above, the monthly health insurance premiums of employees, officers, servants, employees, pensioners, labor incapacity allowance, officers, professional soldiers ... still maintenance as before, namely by 4.5% monthly salary.

The decree also specifies the level of support from health insurance premiums for some subjects. In particular, under the new poor households out of poverty will be supported 100% of the premium for a period of 05 years after escaping poverty; the case of poor households have escaped poverty before the 01/01/2015 but time poor drainage to the date 01/01/2015 01 not enough time left in the supported minimum of 01 years; students, students are supported by 30% of the premium.

According to the decree, people with health insurance are treated in clinics and treatment, but the card has expired shall continue to pay the cost of health insurance fund medical treatment within the scope of benefits and benefit levels under regulations until the end of the hospital or outpatient treatment; the insured to hospital treatment but prior to the date 01/01/2015 01/01/2015 discharged from the date the payment is within the rights and benefit levels are defined in the Law Amending and Supplementing the Law on Health Insurance .

This Decree takes effect from the date of 01.01.2015; replace Decree No. 62/2009 / ND-CP dated 27/07/2009.
